Terms of Service
The court's rules, in the court's hand. Read them; the bailiff already has.

1. Operator
JudgeMySite (the "Service") is operated by Erik Hammarström, a private individual based in Sweden. Contact: privacy@judgemysite.org.
2. The Service
JudgeMySite is a web-based AI tool that generates theatrical "verdicts" on websites you submit. You enter a URL, choose a wound-driven AI judge persona, and receive a stylised review with a grade, findings, and one-liners. The Service is intended as a creative critique tool — entertainment combined with practical design feedback.
3. AI-Generated Output — Important Disclaimer
Verdicts are generated by an AI language model (currently Anthropic Claude) and reflect the persona of the chosen judge. They are not professional advice, may contain factual errors, and do not represent the views of the operator.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Verdicts are creative interpretation, not authoritative assessment.
- Statements made by AI judges are not factual claims by the operator.
- You will not rely on a verdict to make legal, financial, or commercial decisions.
- Personae are designed to be opinionated, harsh, or theatrical — this is by design.
The operator does not endorse, ratify, or vouch for the content of any individual verdict. If you believe a verdict contains a materially false statement about a website, please contact us — we will review and may remove the verdict at our discretion.
4. Acceptable Use
By using the Service, you agree:
- You will only submit URLs that are publicly accessible (no paywalled member areas, intranets, or private staging environments you do not own or have permission to test).
- You will not submit URLs to harass, defame, or otherwise harm a third party.
- You will not abuse the Service through automated submissions, scraping, or attempts to circumvent rate limits.
- You will not submit content that violates applicable law (illegal content, IP infringement, etc.).
- You are responsible for the consequences of any verdict you choose to share publicly.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, judge personae, visual design, and code are owned by the operator. Verdicts generated for you are licensed to you under a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, share, and quote — with attribution to JudgeMySite where reasonable. The operator retains the right to display verdicts in aggregate (for example, on the public scoreboard) without identifying you personally.
6. Pricing and Payment
Paid features are not yet active. When they launch, prices, payment terms, withdrawal rights, and refund mechanisms will be added to these Terms. Until then, the Service is offered free of charge, subject to the daily rate limit shown on the homepage.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid the operator in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For free-tier use, that amount is zero.
The operator excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of reputation arising from a verdict or from any inaccuracy in AI-generated output. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence — these are excluded by mandatory law.
8. Statutory Rights Preserved
Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under Swedish law, in particular under the Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen 2022:260) and the Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen 2005:59), or equivalent mandatory provisions in your country of residence within the EU.
9. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. For paid features (when launched), material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via the email address on file before taking effect.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, with Stockholms tingsrätt as the first-instance forum for disputes. EU consumers retain the protections of mandatory consumer law in their country of habitual residence (Rome I Regulation (EC) 593/2008 Art. 6; Brussels I-bis Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 Art. 17–19).
For online dispute resolution involving a paid purchase, see the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Swedish consumers may also turn to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN): arn.se.
